FREE AT 3: MARCH MATINEE CONCERT

The Burbank Philharmonic Orchestra invites you to a special spring matinee concert celebrating emerging talent and the next generation of classical music leaders.

This concert features recent Grand Prize winners of the Hennings-Fischer Young Artist Competition, including violinist Jason Moon, the 2024 Instrumental Grand Prize winner, and soprano Lily Smith, the 2024 Opera Grand Prize winner.

The program includes Johannes Brahms’ Violin Concerto in D Major, Op. 77, performed by Jason Moon, as well as selected operatic arias sung by Lily Smith. The afternoon will also mark the debut performance of the 2026 Burbank Philharmonic Discovery Conductor, highlighting the orchestra’s commitment to mentorship and artistic development.

The concert will take place on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at 3:00 PM at Wolfson Auditorium at Burbank High School, located at 902 N. 3rd Street, Burbank, CA 91502.
